Christians pretty much all base their faith and impose it on the world from the same fundamentally flawed position. They act like they know, and talk like they know, even though, the best they can HONESTLY say, is that they BELIEVE.
If someone tells a Christian how sick or twisted or hateful or stupid or whatever their "position" or religion is, they attribute it to people hating God or Jesus or the truth; corrupt generation, people turning from the truth, the end times, etc. They don't act like they BELIEVE this is the case, they act like they know it for a fact. Humility is not a virtue, nor pride a vice when it comes to "faith".
There's NO honest or earnest introspection in a Christian, visa vi a non-Christian, since all "doubt" has been removed by "faith". So, almost universally, Christians are impossible people to talk to about truth or reality or anything related to their religion. They have MESMERIZED the truth and refuse to question it for fear of burning in hell with the devil forever. They are no different than any sect of people they would call cult zombies, it's just that there's more of them, so it seems "normal".
They "normalize" their life to a great extent, so they don't seem "weird" (to themselves), i.e. they act like everyone else, fit in, etc. When they're debating or exercising/imposing their religious dogma, however, they act like arrogant assholes, which is why they are "hated". Contrary to their dogma, it has nothing to do with people hating Jesus or the truth or whatever. It has to do with Christians hating the truth that their religion is insane, vicious and completely stupid.
I personally don't think anyone who has thought much about it TRULY believes the Christian religion, frankly, because it's UNBELIEVABLE. The only people who really believe are simply unable or unwilling to think about it much, they just accept it as true for whatever reason.
The mind as a tool cannot hold something unbelievable as true. If one applies a natural non-coerced discretionary analysis to what is known, and what is obviously real; compared to what is proposed in the Christian religious texts, there's no possibility of honestly believing. That's why Christians need TONS of repetition and validation, so they can continue to at least PRETEND to believe, so maybe they won't burn in hell with the devil forever.
No healthy autonomous mind can come to the conclusion, for example, that God impregnated a virgin so he could save (some of) the world from the devil, for example. Never mind how ridiculous the proposition is that God impregnated a virgin (a child in that day and age); the proposition that an all powerful God needs to buy something, as in our souls, (from the devil or whomever), is beyond comprehension and insane. Every single solitary tenet of the religion is equally ridiculous, and therefor unbelievable. That's why there's a market for "inspirational" teaching and preaching and constant repetition, to keep people believing that they believe, so they don't burn in hell with the devil forever.
There's no mention whatsoever of heaven and hell in the Old Testament, and then suddenly everyone deserves to burn in hell with the devil forever, but thankfully, some few will find the narrow path and escape. That's the GOOD NEWS. That's why there are hundreds of thousands of ridiculously useless buildings and billions of dollars spent having church and spreading the gospel worldwide, constantly.
New and Improved. Now with Heaven and Hell.
I know the hair on the back of the neck of most Christians wills stand up when or if they read this, but you know, my saying this is not nearly as vicious as them saying I deserve to burn and will burn in hell with the devil forever because I am sinful, I reject the gift of life the Son of God, who has paid the price of my salvation, blah blah blah.
